Canada Post Strike

Canada Post Strike - UPDATE October 15, 2025

Canada Post strikes have significantly affected small businesses like ours. As of October 15th, we've made the decision to ship exclusively through Canada Post, despite the ongoing rotating strikes, simply because it remains the most cost-effective option.

Using courier services within Ontario was averaging between $45 and $70 per shipment—an unsustainable expense for us and our customers. Managing two different shipping options would also require extra trips to local outlets, which we’re aiming to avoid for efficiency.

While Canada Post is still moving packages through the system, some delays may occur. Please be patient and build some slack time into your expectations - the driving season is essentially over anyhow.

6-month Guarantee Period for Existing Orders

We realize sending your plates to the Kingston MTO Office for approval will also be affected by the strike as they do not allow courier deliveries to a PO Box. As such, for any orders that were placed over the last 6 months, we will pad our guarantee period to compensate for this lost time. The new end date will be 6 months, plus the amount of days the strikes lasted.

Thank you for your patience and we hope the strike ends soon.

Sincerely,

Eric Vettoretti, Owner/Operator
